Your Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Field Sales Representative to collaborate with our field service management team, understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will craft and execute effective strategies to penetrate new markets and enhance our established relationships.

This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding service in the life sciences and healthcare sectors while contributing to the growth of a new national sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and sustain strategic relationships with clients by engaging proactively with both existing and potential customers to meet sales objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our service footprint with assigned clients and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Establish credibility and influence within the industry, positioning yourself as a strategic partner committed to enhancing the customer experience.
  • Network across various sectors to build a strong pipeline that aligns with TSS's sales targets.
  • Present TSS's range of services effectively to stakeholders at all levels within client organizations.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to enhance visibility and network.
  • Guide clients by assessing growth opportunities and promoting new services.
  • Drive growth through cross-selling and upselling by collaborating with different business units.
  • Work closely with fellow Field Sales Representatives, Inside Sales, and service delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service alignment.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of TSS's service offerings to tailor recommendations to client needs.
  • Conduct structured business reviews with management to align on customer strategies and refine our value proposition.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $120,000, with potential earnings up to $178,571 based on performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Environmental Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • A master's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for tracking productivity and identifying opportunities.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Skills and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory and healthcare compliance services.
  • Proven track record in selling service contracts and related offerings.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel 50% – 70% of the time for client visits.
