Position Summary:
The Field Sales Executive plays a crucial role in achieving sales and profit goals within their designated territory or industry. This position collaborates closely with the Branch Manager to set and meet territory sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to achieve defined production targets.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries and requests.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals.
- Strategically plan and manage the sales territory.
- Effectively communicate information about company products, services, and policies to both new and existing clients.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry product knowledge.
- Continuously monitor local competition and industry trends, providing insights to management as necessary.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Ensure all client documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Provide timely and precise reports as required.
- Participate in relevant business and trade events.
- Engage in team strategic sales meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated integrity, exceptional customer service, and strong sales and communication skills to enhance client satisfaction while driving sales growth.
- A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in a related industry.
- High School Diploma or College Degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems.
- Ability to pass background checks, MVR checks, and drug tests as required.
