Role Summary

In the capacity of Senior Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment, training, and engagement of our workforce, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive HR expertise and demonstrate the ability to influence and partner strategically across all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulating and executing recruitment strategies in collaboration with management.
  • Representing employee interests in senior leadership discussions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all organizational and legal standards.
  • Conducting regular audits to maintain adherence to policies.
  • Managing workforce planning to enhance capability and performance.
  • Creating and implementing retention strategies tailored to specific partners.
  • Overseeing onboarding and training processes for new hires.
  • Leading initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
  • Coaching managers on performance metrics and business insights.
  • Driving continuous improvements through data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets.
  • Facilitating a welcoming check-in experience for employees.
  • Collaborating with leadership to develop employee engagement action plans.
  • Managing employee investigations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Balancing strategic and operational responsibilities to implement HR strategies.
  • Acting as a liaison for union representatives when applicable.
  • Educating managers on compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records within the HRIS.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Processing unemployment claims promptly.
  • Planning team activities to achieve medium-term goals.
  • Addressing employee grievances and concerns.
  • Ensuring completion of mandatory training programs.
  • Collaborating with leadership on succession planning and development.
  • Optimizing labor scheduling in partnership with department leaders.
  • Working with strategic partners to manage contract retention.
  • Supporting managers in employee investigations and corrective actions.
  • Analyzing performance data to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluating practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Leading change management and improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in management meetings to support governance.
  • Providing ongoing training to the management team.
  • Partnering with HR leadership to align strategies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual skills (English & Spanish) are advantageous.
  • A passion for hospitality and retail sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
