Position Overview
Proper Hospitality is in search of a Senior Vice President of Culinary Operations to become an integral part of our corporate team. This pivotal role will oversee the operational framework, cultural development, and financial success of our Food & Beverage divisions across our diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovate and implement distinctive Food & Beverage strategies aimed at luxury venues, enhancing revenue through the evolution of offerings that captivate target demographics and elevate guest experiences.
  • Provide visionary leadership to Corporate Directors of Food & Beverage, collaborating closely with marketing teams, the Corporate Culinary Director, and on-site management to establish and track measurable objectives, including revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Partner with the marketing department to amplify the Food & Beverage brand's visibility, ensuring consistency in service delivery and presentation standards across all locations.
  • In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, assume full accountability for financial performance across properties by crafting and executing revenue-generating marketing initiatives, setting and achieving Food & Beverage financial targets, and deploying cost-effective strategies.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with Food & Beverage suppliers, overseeing procurement processes and integrating marketing partnerships to optimize visibility and pricing agreements.
  • Lead projects related to kitchen design and operational supplies procurement, enhancing efficiency and aligning with branding and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to attract and recruit top culinary talent, showcasing the brand's strengths and unique selling propositions.
  • Oversee menu development, utilizing market research and trend analysis to drive innovation, meet guest preferences, and enhance revenue.
  • Direct the recipe costing process, continuously seeking cost-effective solutions while emphasizing value propositions in marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure strict adherence to branding guidelines across all Food & Beverage Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of strategic Food & Beverage components within the annual business plan and budget, incorporating market analysis, competitor benchmarking, concept development, and branding initiatives.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to evaluate operational performance and gather insights for marketing strategies based on cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by senior leadership, leveraging Food & Beverage expertise to foster innovation, operational excellence, market penetration, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience managing multi-unit Food & Beverage operations, demonstrating a strong background in strategic planning, performance optimization, and financial oversight.
  • Preferred advanced degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in full-service and luxury hotel operations is essential.
  • Strong background in restaurant management, particularly in upscale or fine dining environments.
  • Proven success in developing and launching new Food & Beverage concepts that drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology, data analytics, and consumer insights to inform decisions and drive innovation in Food & Beverage offerings.
