Role Summary

In the capacity of Senior Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment, training, and engagement of our team members who deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Human Resources and will act as both a subject matter expert and a strategic partner, influencing decision-making at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute staffing strategies in collaboration with management.
  • Represent employee interests in senior leadership discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company standards, including timely completion of necessary documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the onboarding and training processes for new hires.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention.
  • Coach managers on key performance indicators and business insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of team member time records.
  • Facilitate a welcoming experience for new employees during check-in.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and implement an employee engagement action plan.
  • Manage employee investigations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Educate and support managers regarding collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system.
  • Process unemployment claims promptly.
  • Plan team activities to meet medium-term objectives.
  • Address team member grievances and promote a culture of open communication.
  • Ensure completion of mandatory training programs.
  • Work with leadership to establish management succession plans.
  • Optimize labor scheduling in partnership with department leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Compass Strategic Alliance Group on contract retention.
  • Support sales initiatives for existing and potential partners.
  • Assist managers with employee investigations and corrective actions.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluate practices to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
  • Drive change management and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in management meetings to support governance.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for the management team.
  • Partner with HR teams to develop joint strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within Human Resources.
  • Experience managing remote teams is preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale projects.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in HR software.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
