Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will spearhead the successful delivery of a new upscale hospitality development project, featuring an eight-storey, 204-room luxury hotel. This position demands a highly skilled and organized individual with extensive experience in overseeing intricate construction initiatives while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with a diverse array of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, to guarantee the flawless execution of a premier hotel that surpasses expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy & Implementation: Formulate detailed project strategies, encompassing timelines, financial plans, and resource distribution. Track progress, identify potential risks, and apply mitigation tactics to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Promote effective communication and collaboration to align objectives and address challenges.
  • Contract Oversight: Negotiate and oversee agreements with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Ensure adherence to contractual commitments and resolve any conflicts or discrepancies.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and handle financial reporting. Identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish stringent quality assurance protocols to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds established standards. Conduct regular evaluations, rectify any deficiencies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a cross-functional project team, providing direction, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and results-driven atmosphere.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management, stakeholders, and project team members. Ensure clear communication and prompt escalation of issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in project management, with a proven history of delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within the hospitality industry.
