Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Event Operations Strategist, you will:
  • Develop and implement processes, strategies, and tools that elevate operational excellence and drive outstanding results.
  • Facilitate organizational and cross-departmental planning, leading strategic presentations and prioritizing new initiatives.
  • Act as a proactive influencer across diverse teams to eliminate obstacles and ensure top-tier deliverables.
  • Manage complex projects and identify opportunities for efficiency and enhanced outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with key cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, communications, product marketing, and other essential internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, creating comprehensive playbooks, intake forms, and catalogs, while developing processes and training for implementation across teams.
  • Establish collaborative relationships throughout the organization.
  • Monitor key work streams, set clear success metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure project success.
  • Develop high-level communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Address issues and concerns promptly and effectively within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and the Events team to define broader vendor requirements and manage the bidding process.
  • Work closely with event team leads, sourcing, finance, and legal teams to select and onboard vendors.
  • Support the annual and quarterly planning processes, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Lead regular team meetings, establishing clear agendas, assigning responsibilities, and tracking action items.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of operational experience in a marketing agency or brand marketing function, with a focus on event management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading event teams and achieving strategic goals.
  • Exceptional skills in program, project, and time management.
  • Proficiency in Keynote.
  • A strategic thinker and effective communicator, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at multitasking and navigating ambiguity to achieve objectives.
  • A dedicated partner committed to fostering impactful teams.
  • Passionate about creating structures and processes that enable outstanding work in a creative environment.
  • Comfortable with both business requirements and the technical aspects of vendor services.
