The Apple Card and Cash team is in search of a highly skilled and experienced professional to propel the ongoing expansion of Apple Cash and introduce innovative new features.
In this position, you will assist in defining the strategic direction of Apple Cash and support the execution of that long-term vision.
You will collaborate directly with Human Interface, Engineering teams, and various functional teams across Apple to establish and implement a multi-year product roadmap.
You will also engage closely with external partners, including payment networks, issuers, and other stakeholders to achieve results.
We seek an individual with extensive experience in developing and launching consumer products, a passion for enhancing users' financial well-being, and familiarity with financial services and payment systems.
You will be expected to lead teams managing complex, cross-functional projects and drive progress by delving into technical details when necessary while also considering the overall user experience.
You should blend technical expertise, a strong sense of user experience, diplomacy, and business acumen. Exceptional presentation skills are essential, as you will be responsible for articulating a clear vision and requirements that inspire the team and delight customers. Key Responsibilities:- Envision and develop new product features and strategies; define comprehensive use cases for engineering and design.
- Build consensus and advocate for initiatives with executives, colleagues, and external partners.
- Collaborate with Human Interface, Engineering, other Product Managers, Legal, Business Development, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations to launch products.
- Drive collaboration with strategic partners on product development.
- Represent business interests during design and development phases.
- Work with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop launch plans and ensure readiness among various partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in building consumer products in collaboration with designers, engineers, and data scientists.
- 5+ years of experience managing regulatory and compliance requirements for consumer products in the financial services sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in Product Management within financial services or financial technology.
- Familiarity with financial technical infrastructure (e.g., processors and card networks).
- Technical approach to problem-solving with engineers.
- Effective communicator capable of synthesizing complex topics and conveying key business dynamics to senior executives.
- Ability to lead and influence diverse cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive decisions and outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to structure ambiguous situations and perform complex analyses.
- MS Degree in CS/EE and/or an MBA is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role.
The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, with actual pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.Employees may also be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
