Position Overview
Jobot is collaborating with a prominent international organization to fill the role of ICT Systems Technician. The selected candidate will be tasked with:
  • Ensuring high-quality internet connectivity and robust network infrastructure

Overseeing ICT operations across various sites and offices, including systems utilizing wireless, fiber optic, and copper technologies.
  • Providing daily ICT operational support for desktops, laptops, and other user devices, addressing break/fix scenarios, configuration challenges, troubleshooting, software installations, and hardware repairs.

Collaborating with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Modern Workplace Teams, ICT Operations Manager, and Group ICT Manager as necessary based on issues encountered.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of infrastructure changes and upgrades to improve performance and ensure business continuity.

Setting up, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting computing hardware, including active/passive network components and imaging devices.
  • Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining networking solutions and hardware, including firewalls (e.g., Sophos), routers, network switches, wireless solutions, and surveillance systems.

Managing and maintaining software solutions, including:
  • Windows and Android operating systems
  • Remote support and management applications
  • End-point management and security solutions
  • Software upgrades and security patches

Planning, implementing, and documenting ICT-related projects. Performing daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with ICT Operations Manager and Group ICT Manager.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong expertise in M365 Administration & Exchange Online troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in O365 Modern workplace tools and applications.
  • Advanced skills in Windows OS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk, infrastructure management, monitoring, and alerting tools.
  • Awareness of current Cybersecurity threats and protective technologies.
  • Experience in technical writing and SOP documentation.
  • Mastery of MS-Active Directory, security management, Group Policy, and Exchange server.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration is a plus.

General ICT Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Operations Framework, Microsoft Solutions Framework, and ITIL standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Knowledge of ICT governance and decision-making in complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with ICT Service Core processes.
  • Partner and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell).

Professional Certifications:
  • ITIL Foundation certification is essential.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or relevant cloud technology certification is essential.
  • Managed Cybersecurity certification is essential.
  • MCSE: Core Infrastructure and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certifications are advantageous.
  • MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect certification is a plus.

Qualifications and Education:
  • A minimum of a BCS, BEng, or BSCCE in Communications, Electrical, or Information Systems is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the ICT field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Systems Administration experience with a reputable global solution integrator is required.
  • At least 1 year of Cloud Computing experience is required.
