Position Overview
We are collaborating with a growing international organization to fill a newly established position as an ICT Systems Technician. The selected candidate will be tasked with:
  • Ensuring the quality of internet connectivity and network infrastructure

Overseeing ICT operations across the Americas, including systems utilizing wireless, fiber optic, and copper technologies.
  • Providing day-to-day ICT operational support for desktops, laptops, and other user devices, managing break/fix scenarios, configuration challenges, troubleshooting, software installations, and hardware repairs.

Collaborating with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Modern Workplace Teams, ICT Operations Manager, and Group ICT Manager as necessary.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of infrastructure changes and upgrades to enhance performance and ensure business continuity.

Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting computing hardware, including active/passive network components and imaging devices.
  • Setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining networking solutions and hardware, including firewalls, routers, network switches, wireless solutions, and surveillance systems.

Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining software, including:
  • 1- Windows and Android operating systems
  • 2- Remote support and management applications
  • 3- End-point management and security solutions
  • 4- Software upgrades and security patches

Planning, implementing, and documenting ICT-related projects. Conducting daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with ICT Operations Manager and Group ICT Manager.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient in M365 Administration & Exchange Online with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of O365 Modern workplace tools and applications.
  • Advanced skills in Windows OS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in LAN/WAN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of Cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk operations, infrastructure management, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Awareness of current Cybersecurity threats and protective technologies.
  • Experience in technical writing and SOP documentation is advantageous.
  • Mastery of MS-Active Directory, security management, Group Policy, Exchange server, and PowerShell is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration is beneficial.

General ICT Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Operations Framework, Microsoft Solutions Framework, and ITIL standards.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Good grasp of ICT governance and decision-making in complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of ICT Service Core processes.
  • Skills in partner and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell).

Professional Certifications:
  • ITIL Foundation certification is essential.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or relevant cloud technology certification is required.
  • Managed Cybersecurity certification is necessary.
  • MCSE: Core Infrastructure is advantageous.
  • MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure is a plus.
  • MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect is a plus.

Qualifications and Education:
  • A minimum of a BCS, BEng, or BSCCE in Communications, Electrical, or Information Systems is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the ICT field is necessary.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Systems Administration experience with a reputable global solution integrator is required.
  • At least 1 year of Cloud Computing experience is essential.
