Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily operations of HR unit functions and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Providing guidance, consultation, and expertise to HR Unit, agency leadership, management, staff, stakeholders, and external entities on HR policies and procedures.
- Administering, researching, and developing solutions to complex HR-related issues and exception requests for the HR unit.
- Establishing goals and objectives, developing and approving schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals, and managing evaluation activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of full-time employment experience as a human resources professional.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations relevant to human resources.
