Job Description

This role is responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that employees and supervisors have the necessary tools to succeed. As a senior-level human resources manager, you will provide guidance on staff relations issues, interpreting policies, and advising managers and employees on sensitive matters.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field, along with four years of combined experience in human resource employee relations. This includes experience in conflict management, conducting employment law-related complaint investigations, and producing written findings and investigative reports.

You will also have 12 months of supervisory experience, including training and performance management. Additionally, experience in mediating workplace disputes, designing and delivering training, and working in Texas State or Local Sector Government is highly desirable.

A valid class C Texas driver's license is required. Certification in Human Resources, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, is also preferred.

This position requires strong knowledge of federal and state employment law, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). You should be skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as utilizing virtual meeting technologies.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include generous paid time off, group insurance, retirement and pension, and frequent training and staff development opportunities.
