We are currently seeking two entry-level SAP ERP consultants with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join our team for the implementation of a financial and human capital ERP system for the State of Illinois. The following responsibilities have been outlined by the State of Illinois. Additionally, we seek candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to lead workshops and teams, and the capability to convey complex issues in a straightforward manner that executives can grasp:

  1. Support the implemented project enterprise management system by developing processes and procedures for tracking tasks to identify and resolve issues promptly, collaborating with stakeholders and the CMS team to create milestone schedules and criteria for project decisions.
  2. Analyze design documentation from CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM to verify the accuracy of the proposed solution and suggest alternative solutions where applicable.
  3. Monitor functional gaps identified during design sessions and track defects noted during user acceptance testing, proposing alternatives to CMS to address these defects.
  4. Review and validate business requirements with the CMS team, assess business process mapping, and recommend options to enhance alignment of CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM requirements with agency needs and practices.
  5. Coordinate with the CMS team to identify resource needs and provide project status updates to designated leadership and committees as necessary.
  6. Facilitate meetings and lead presentations or training sessions with end-users, key managers, and administrators.
  7. Ensure effective change management is conducted to transition individuals, teams, and stakeholders to the desired state in CMS ACTS/SAP/HCM as required.

Qualifications

The following ten minimal qualifications are specified by the State of Illinois. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate how they meet these requirements. Additionally, Attadale values experience in team leadership, client interaction, clear communication skills, and the ability to lead workshops to address business challenges:

1. A minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in training, development, and working in production environments of SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module.

2. At least two (2) years of experience in the State government budgetary process.

3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience consulting with a development team to document software bugs and assist in their resolution.

4. At least two (2) years of combined experience troubleshooting and upgrading SAP software.

5. A minimum of one (1) year of experience using procurement software integrated with an enterprise financial system.

6. At least one (1) year of combined experience training, developing, and working in production environments of SAP's Human Capital Management module.

7. A minimum of one (1) year of experience using SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module to track various State government funds and generate reports on the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project/Cost Accounting, and payment processing.

8. At least one (1) year of experience assisting agency management in ensuring the segregation of duties within SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management module.

9. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in planning, analysis, design, requirement definition, functional design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions.

10. Industry experience in financial/accounting/inventory-asset management within SAP.
