ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Senior Business Process Consultant (EAM and Service Management) shall provide deep subject matter expertise and content around the areas of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/IAM/SSAM/FSM) and Service Management, that facilitates the implementation and support of on-prem and cloud-based solutions, across the entire SAP product portfolio in order to enhance the clients' business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The consultant will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same. The consultant will implement, customize, and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as:

  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go-Live of customer implementation projects
  • Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
  • Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Develop detailed plan of process implementation
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
  • Develop and assure quality of process models
  • Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
  • Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
  • Analyze and map clients' business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
  • 30-50% travel may be required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

In addition to a bachelor/master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or other relevant degree, and a minimum of seven (5) years of progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:

  • Must have experience in the SAP EAM and/or Service Management solutions
  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with demonstrated expertise in SAP's EAM and Service Management solution
  • Experience with EAM/Service Management business processes and various related industry experience
  • Good knowledge of SAP integration to S/4HANA or ECC.
  • Knowledge of SAP's Design to Operate (D2O) Strategy, Approach, and applications
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) is a strong plus
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM) is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) is plus
  • Formal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus
  • Working knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models, cloud-based commerce/business networks
  • Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the client company
  • Fluency in English, any other language an asset

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 105, ,300 USD USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
