Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Sales Director to lead our Federal Sales team in the Washington DC Metro Area. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Federal Government market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve aggressive revenue targets in the assigned Federal Sales region.
- Manage and motivate a team of Federal Account Managers and Federal Sales Engineers to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at DOD and Federal Intelligence Agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the needs and challenges of our Federal Government customers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Travel extensively within the region and occasionally beyond to meet with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant field sales experience in computer networking/network management technologies, with a proven track record of success in the Federal Government market.
- 5+ years of management experience, with a strong background in sales leadership and team management.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic sales plans, as well as to motivate and coach sales teams to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Strong technical competency in network products, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience selling to Federal Government Accounts, including the DOD and Federal Intelligence Agencies, is highly preferred.
- Security Clearance is a plus.
