Role Overview:
As a Store Support Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Store Support Team. Your leadership will ensure that the team functions efficiently and effectively, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and assign tasks to team members, ensuring optimal workflow.
2. Collaborate with the Team Trainer to provide comprehensive training to new and existing team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all product displays and storage areas, ensuring proper stock rotation.
4. Address and resolve complex customer inquiries and issues with professionalism.
5. Ensure that all team members receive their scheduled breaks in a timely manner.
6. Communicate any team-related concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
7. Report attendance issues to the Team Leader and Store Leadership.
8. Uphold the highest standards of retail execution and customer service.
9. Promote a collaborative and respectful team environment, enhancing morale and teamwork.

Customer Engagement:
Maintain awareness of customer needs and preferences, directing team members to meet and exceed customer expectations promptly.

Team Development:
1. Select, mentor, and motivate team members to cultivate a high-performing team.
2. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support team growth.
3. Consistently communicate and embody the company’s vision and values.

Qualifications:
1. Extensive knowledge of Store Support procedures and policies.
2. Strong teaching and mentoring abilities, fostering a positive learning environment.
3. Advanced product knowledge and awareness of new offerings.
4. Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
5. Proficient in regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
6. Strong mathematical skills for financial assessment and inventory management.
7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations-related software.

Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
2. Capable of standing or walking for 6-8 hours during a work shift.
3. Must be able to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
4. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.

Work Environment:
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $25.10 per hour, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.
