About the Role

Copeland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection activity of a multi-million-dollar Accounts Receivable portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of direct reports and provide guidance on goal setting and performance management.
  • Direct work to ensure on-time payment of open A/R, minimize past due A/R, and maximize overall DSO performance.
  • Interact with high-level management staff at assigned businesses and lead regular meetings on performance-related objectives.
  • Raise awareness to management and leadership of issues impacting overall A/R performance.
  • Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in making decisions that will have a significant impact on internal/external customers.
  • Coach and aid direct reports in their professional development.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to review performance with business leadership.
  • Participate in and is responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements used by management and executive leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Four years related experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Action-oriented and results-driven.
  • Periodic travel may be required at the discretion of Manager.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/or in teams effectively.
  • Self-starter who has attention to detail and ability to multitask projects.
