Avionics Integration Engineer Opportunity at Astrion

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirements: Up to 30% travel expected

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience working with the Department of Defense
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of avionics engineering principles and radar technology
  • Proven experience in radar system design and execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate radar and electronic warfare sensors into existing systems
  • Develop, review, and enhance program documentation
  • Assist in hardware and software development and testing processes
  • Conduct analysis of avionics systems and subsystems
  • Support the management of aircraft information systems
  • Utilize expertise in radar waveforms and signal processing techniques
