Avionics Integration Engineer Position at Astrion

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirements: Up to 30% travel expected

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years in a relevant technical domain
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Department of Defense sector
  • Possession of a current Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong understanding of avionics engineering principles and radar technology
  • Proven experience in radar system design and execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate radar and electronic warfare sensors into systems
  • Develop, assess, and revise program documentation as necessary
  • Assist in the development and testing of hardware and software
  • Conduct analysis of avionics systems and subsystems
  • Support management systems for aircraft information
  • Utilize expertise in radar waveforms and signal processing techniques
