Key Responsibilities- Design and develop avionics systems, including avionics subsystems, to meet customer requirements.
- Integrate avionics systems with other aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
- Verify avionics systems to ensure they meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and quality assurance, to ensure avionics systems meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Participate in technical reviews and meetings to ensure avionics systems meet customer requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure avionics systems meet current and future customer needs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in avionics systems engineering.
- Knowledge of avionics engineering principles, including avionics subsystems definition, development, integration, and verification methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level.
