Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to our mission. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge in Department of Defense (DoD) standards and engineering principles to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of advanced weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize DoD and engineering methodologies to enhance weapon system performance and sustainability.
- Support airworthiness certification and System Integrity Programs.
- Translate user requirements into comprehensive weapon system specifications.
- Assist in the formulation of action plans and policies for weapon system capabilities.
- Conduct technical and mission analyses for operational requirements and system concepts.
- Provide rapid response engineering services for critical supportability challenges.
- Engage in system safety engineering activities and evaluations.
- Contribute to material solution analyses and documentation efforts.
- Participate in product reviews, technical evaluations, and acquisition strategies.
- Support equipment and software deficiency analysis and testing.
- Evaluate subcontractor recommendations regarding operational and support issues.
- Participate in program milestone approvals and source selections.
- Ensure disciplined engineering practices to maintain OSS&E for all products.
- Aid in the development and assessment of engineering cost estimates.
- Facilitate value stream mapping activities and AFSO21 program initiatives.
- Support configuration, data, and risk management processes.
- Apply electrical engineering expertise to power systems and avionics subsystems.
- Assist in CNS/ATM requirements, testing, and certification activities.
- Support avionics integration engineering and relevant documentation updates.

Minimum Qualifications
- ABET-accredited BS/MS degree in an engineering discipline.
- Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD, OR BA/BS degree with 15 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD, OR 20 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth understanding and application of relevant standards, procedures, and practices.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Experience in program office, enterprise, staff-level support, C-130 modifications, troubleshooting, field support, and depot support is preferred.
