Position Summary
As a vital member of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, you will engage in various human resources functions, encompassing associate relations, workforce planning, organizational development, talent acquisition, and compensation strategies. Serving as a primary contact for associates at different levels, you will address inquiries and facilitate discussions. An HRBP at A&F Co. is expected to emphasize the significance of talent in fulfilling the company's strategic objectives. This role is highly collaborative, requiring interaction with various stakeholders within human resources, business units, finance, legal, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend the objectives and processes of digital and technology sectors, alongside the associate skillset and development necessary for success.
  • Engage with business leaders to relay key feedback themes and insights to the HRBP lead.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to associates across the organization, advising supervisors on effective associate interactions.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams throughout the candidate lifecycle, including job intakes, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Assist in strategizing resource allocation and staffing in partnership with HRBP leads, focusing on turnover, transfers, retention, promotions, and succession planning.
  • Support organizational design initiatives and assist leaders during structural changes and realignments.
  • Coordinate scheduling and training for Leadership Development programs for interns and full-time associates.
  • Input and analyze associate data within HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to the annual Performance Review and bi-annual Talent Review processes, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with compensation teams on job offers and internal promotions.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends and associate perspectives related to talent management and practices.
  • Support the immigration team by providing necessary data and resources while gaining insight into immigration processes.
  • Assist with special projects related to HR functions, including role definitions and remote work policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred 1+ years of HR experience or related project and people management experience.
  • Genuine passion for Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brands.
  • Interest in the retail and/or technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality standards.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with human resources management systems is a plus.
