Sales Operations Specialist
Role Summary:
Based in McLean, Virginia, the Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for fostering and maintaining robust relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. By delivering timely and precise responses to inquiries, you will contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction levels. This role offers a solid foundation for a rewarding career at Arrow Electronics, Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between the sales team and various stakeholders, participating in customer and supplier engagements as necessary.
- Conduct research and share insights on prospective clients, supplier activities, and project costs and timelines in collaboration with the local team.
- Assess opportunities, formulate penetration strategies, and guide the Arrow team accordingly.
- Identify potential strategic Global OEM clients for additional business opportunities beyond design transfers.
- Concentrate on nurturing 2-3 selected Global OEM clients.
- Utilize design transfer knowledge and collaborate with suppliers in Asia to enhance business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies for the transfer of relevant materials and responsibilities.
- Oversee and coordinate the quoting process for transfers.
- Provide ongoing training for Arrow teams on managing global transfers effectively.
- Design, implement, and monitor strategies to ensure seamless transitions.
- May oversee customer quoting activities aligned with specific strategies, quoting protocols, and order management processes.
- Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience; or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional adaptability, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Proven history of strong work ethic and customer service orientation.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
