As a key member of our dynamic and collaborative GTM Operations team, the role of Regional Sales Operations Manager is pivotal in enhancing and expanding the operational effectiveness of the Sales Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Regional Sales VPs in structuring the organization, formulating strategies, and managing talent.
  • Act as a strategic consultant to the business, guiding the operational strategy.
  • Implement the Regional plan and design by developing customer segmentation, coverage models, role definitions, and territory layouts.
  • Oversee weekly operational forecasts, pipeline management, and review processes.
  • Facilitate the allocation and assignment of quotas and targets.
  • Deliver insightful, actionable analyses to Sales Leaders, moving beyond mere descriptive reporting.
  • Lead project management for key initiatives related to customer acquisition, sales efficiency, and the synergy between sales and marketing operations. Establish a consistent forecasting rhythm for the Region and its subdivisions.
  • Conduct monthly pipeline assessments to ensure sufficient quota coverage and pipeline generation.
  • Enhance business processes, create workflows, and drive productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize essential sales process applications, including but not limited to SFDC, Appian, Xactly, and Tableau.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience is required; an MBA is preferred and may substitute for experience.
  • Experience in Sales Operations or Sales Finance is essential.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, quoting tools, and forecasting systems is necessary.
  • Proven ability to engage with employees at all levels, from executives to staff.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Strong orientation towards customer service, along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in the Software/SaaS industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US Public Sector finance, particularly in DoD and State and Local government, is advantageous.
