Lead Billing Coordinator

A prominent global law firm is looking for a Billing Operations Manager to become a vital member of their finance team. The Billing Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the billing process and ensuring that all activities align with client expectations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact between billing attorneys, secretarial staff, and clients, providing expert guidance and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Engage with clients to ensure their billing needs are met, keeping them informed about the progress of tasks and collaborating with global billing teams for logistical support.
- Collaborate with local Finance Committee members to support financial objectives, participate in committee discussions, and facilitate actionable outcomes.
- Work closely with the eBilling team to implement corrective measures for future submissions.
- Generate and review Proformas using Elite 3E, ensuring accuracy in billing entries.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least six (6) years of experience in general accounting, with a minimum of five (5) years specifically in law firm billing processes.
- Experience with professional services billing operations systems is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to foster a growth mindset and drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Proven capability to work collaboratively across various teams and build strong professional relationships.
- Ability to manage projects independently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and communicate data accurately.
