Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 / year, based on experience
Qualifications for Lead Advertising Billing Specialist:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising billing, specifically within the media/advertising sector.
- Expertise in Media Ocean or comparable billing systems (e.g., Strata).
- Thorough understanding of billing procedures in the media industry, including invoice management for television, radio, and digital platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, capable of performing essential tasks such as file conversions and report generation.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Oversee and manage the billing procedures for advertising clients, ensuring the accuracy and promptness of invoices.
- Leverage the Media Ocean system to process a significant volume of media invoices, including booking and negotiating airtime.
- Engage effectively with internal personnel and clients to provide updates on billing status and facilitate payment collection.
- Address client and vendor inquiries through professional communication channels, fostering strong relationships.
- Work closely with the CFO and other team members to enhance billing processes and resolve any issues.
- Maintain precise records and documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
