Position Overview

Our Educators:
As a vital part of our educational community, you will:

  • Establish a nurturing and stimulating classroom atmosphere for young learners to thrive.
  • Inspire a passion for discovery and knowledge through our unique L.E.A.P Curriculum, which serves as the foundation for crafting engaging lesson plans.
  • Maintain open communication with families, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
  • Contribute to the center's objectives by collaborating with staff and leadership to enhance enrollment and engagement.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of every child.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A talent for building relationships with families and colleagues, fostering an environment where play and learning coexist.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant teaching experience is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; college coursework in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred.
  • Compliance with state-specific guidelines for the position.

Expectations:
As part of your role, you will be expected to:

  • Fulfill assigned daily hours.
  • Report to work on all operational days.
  • Create a supportive, safe, and educational environment.
  • Collaborate on lesson planning and co-teaching responsibilities.
  • Maintain educational portfolios for each child.
  • Develop meaningful professional relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in team meetings with the Director.
  • Adhere to the full-day curriculum schedule.
  • Keep the classroom clean, organized, and ready for tours.
