This contract position is designed for independent professionals seeking temporary or project-oriented roles.

Role Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor)

Project Focus: Process & Change Management

Experience Level: Mid-Senior

Duration: This is a temporary role with an anticipated length of 12 months, with a possibility for extension.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Work Environment: Onsite with potential for occasional travel

The expected compensation range for this contract role is competitive and will be determined based on various factors, including skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in achieving sustainable improvements in processes and managing change effectively within their organizations.
  • Conduct impact assessments, evaluate readiness for change, and identify essential stakeholders.
  • Ensure that critical process and change initiatives meet business objectives and timelines.
  • Establish relevant metrics and measures to help clients track progress, reinforce desired behaviors, and enhance implementation outcomes.
  • Create readiness and training materials utilizing diverse methods based on best practices in customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client value.
  • Participate in internal initiatives such as recruitment, marketing, and more.
  • Drive business development efforts to achieve personal sales targets.
  • Engage in activities that support and promote organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with both internal and client stakeholders, contributing to internal communications and readiness efforts within the project team.
  • Maintain project documentation as a central repository for all relevant information.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality deliverables in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience leading change management and process improvement projects with successful outcomes in complex environments.
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Knowledge and experience in change management and process improvement principles.
  • Strong coaching and influencing capabilities; adept at guiding others towards a shared vision or goal.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust and build value-based relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Extensive facilitation experience.
  • Prosci or other Change Management certifications are preferred.
  • A confident, self-aware team player who is open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential.
