Role Summary

The Strategic Operations Program Manager (SOPM) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience at LifeCenter Northwest by fostering a values-driven culture. This position collaborates with various functions within People Resources (PR) and other business partners to provide essential services and programs that support leaders and employees alike. The SOPM works in tandem with the Director of People Resources to establish and maintain program frameworks that facilitate employee engagement, retention strategies, and effective change management practices. Furthermore, the SOPM partners with PR colleagues to advance initiatives under LifeCenter's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program, acting as a champion for organizational values and promoting an inclusive culture aligned with LifeCenter Northwest's mission.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement and Retention
  • Oversees the employee feedback initiative to collect insights on the employee experience.
    • Designs and manages the annual strategy and quarterly feedback cycles, analyzing results and preparing reports as necessary.
    • Collaborates with department leaders to analyze feedback and support effective follow-up actions.
  • Enhances and manages the employee feedback program, including onboarding check-ins and retention interviews.
    • Monitors trends and feedback to identify potential risks related to employee satisfaction and turnover.
    • Provides timely insights to leadership and the PR team to address concerns and ensure employee success.
  • Leads the ongoing employee engagement feedback process by working with various internal teams to integrate feedback into retention strategies and initiatives.
  • Offers coaching and support to leaders on how to effectively respond to team feedback.
  • Tracks and reports on key retention metrics, utilizing data to identify trends and make informed recommendations.
  • Identifies and addresses organizational trends in collaboration with the PR Director.
  • Works with leadership to develop tailored engagement and retention plans for each department.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of engagement and retention initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
Change Management Practices
  • Collaborates with the Director of PR to create a systematic approach to Change Management that enhances stakeholder experiences during organizational changes:
    • Establishes a cross-functional Change Management cohort.
    • Launches training programs for Change Management practitioners.
    • Develops a standardized planning tool focused on stakeholder experiences.
    • Trains and advises leaders on consistent Change Management practices.
  • Coordinates and leads the Change Management cohort to support ongoing operational improvements.
  • Works closely with Internal Communications to ensure effective employee messaging.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives
  • Promotes LifeCenter's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, collaborating with PR colleagues to advance DEI initiatives.
  • Drives cultural initiatives aligned with organizational values.
  • Participates in the cross-functional People Practices Workgroup, leading and coordinating its efforts.
General Duties
  • Builds strong, consultative relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Engages with team members at all levels, serving as an advocate for employee feedback.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of people-related programs and policies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborates with the PRO team to enhance processes, policies, and initiatives.
  • Works with the People Resources Generalist and Internal Communications to improve employee recognition programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This role does not have formal supervisory responsibilities but serves as an advisor and mentor within the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participates in employee committees and events.
  • Performs other duties as required by the organization.
  • Adheres to applicable laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • PHR/SPHR designation or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in developing engagement and retention programs, collaborating cross-functionally, and advising leaders on best practices.
