Position Overview

This contract role is designed for independent professionals seeking temporary or project-based opportunities.

Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor)

Role: Process & Change Manager

Experience Level: Mid-Senior

Contract Duration: This is a temporary role with an anticipated duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Location: Onsite with potential for occasional travel.

The expected compensation range for this contract is between $156,000 and $171,000 annually. The specific pay rate will be determined based on various factors, including skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in achieving sustainable enhancements in process efficiency and change management within their organizations.
  • Conduct impact assessments, evaluate change readiness, and identify essential stakeholders.
  • Ensure that key process and change initiatives meet business and scheduling objectives.
  • Establish relevant metrics and measures to help clients track progress, reinforce desired behaviors, and improve implementation outcomes.
  • Create readiness and training materials utilizing diverse modalities based on best practices in customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver or develop additional value for clients.
  • Engage in internal initiatives such as recruitment, marketing, and more.
  • Drive business development efforts to meet personal sales targets.
  • Participate in activities that support our organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders, contributing to internal communications and readiness activities within the program team and client groups.
  • Maintain program documentation as a repository for all project-related information.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading change management and process improvement projects with successful outcomes in complex environments.
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in change management and process improvement principles and methodologies.
  • Strong coaching and influencing abilities; capable of guiding others towards a shared vision or goal.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust and value-based relationships with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Solid experience in facilitation.
  • Prosci or other Change Management certifications are preferred.
  • Confident, self-aware team player open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic.
