Position Overview

The role is designed to provide comprehensive administrative and technical support for Unified Communications systems within the organization. Reporting to the UC Assistant Director, this position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of communication technologies across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize the architecture, design, and implementation of Unified Communications systems.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Samsung devices.
  • Collaborate with telecom providers during system implementations and outages to ensure continuity of service.
  • Conduct monthly analysis and validation of invoices related to telecommunications services, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Perform bi-monthly audits of mobile devices to assess cost-effectiveness and update the mobile catalog as necessary.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies with telecom carriers and present findings to management.
  • Administer the mobile phone recycling and inventory management program.
  • Oversee paging systems and associated equipment.
  • Assist in the management of emergency notification systems and updates.
  • Ensure timely resolution of past due balances and proper application of credits.
  • Maintain accurate records of all telecom circuits, numbers, and equipment.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Support the configuration and installation of various CISCO IP Phone models across different CUCM versions.
  • Handle day-to-day maintenance of the Cisco Unified Contact Center.
  • Assist in configuring Agents' IP Phones for extension mobility, enabling access from multiple desktops and IP phones.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions related to telecommunications and customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
