Position Overview

The role will report to a UC Assistant Director and is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, optimization, and technical documentation for both localized and enterprise network systems.

This position entails overseeing daily operations for Unified Communications technologies, proactively identifying complex issues, and conducting root cause analysis to resolve any failures or faults within the Unified Communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and administration of Unified Communications systems.
  • Procurement of mobile devices including iPhones, iPads, and Samsung devices.
  • Collaboration with telecom carriers during system implementations and outages.
  • Conducting monthly invoice analysis, validation, and approval for all telecom-related invoices to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Performing bimonthly audits of mobile devices to assess cost-effectiveness and update mobile catalogs as necessary, while communicating findings to management.
  • Tracking and resolving billing disputes with various carriers, and presenting escalation issues and status reports to the Director.
  • Managing the mobile phone recycling and inventory program.
  • Overseeing paging systems and associated equipment.
  • Assisting with facility notifications and system updates.
  • Researching past due balances to ensure timely resolution and application of credits.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all telecom circuits, numbers, and equipment.
  • Working directly with vendors to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Assisting in the configuration and installation of various CISCO IP Phone models on CUCM across different versions.
  • Daily maintenance of the Cisco Unified Contact Center.
  • Configuring Agents' IP Phones for extension mobility to facilitate access from all available desktops and IP phones.
  • Performing move, add, and change requests on Cisco Unity Connection.
  • Participating in all relevant telecommunications and training sessions.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.
