Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Project Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HVAC, piping, and electrical systems to provide insightful consultation and innovative solutions for repair and retrofit projects, focusing on both financial and energy efficiency aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate, design, and promote mechanical projects related to retrofit, repair, and replacement.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while collaborating effectively with management and the sales team.
  • Utilize your knowledge to develop tailored HVAC solutions that address customer challenges, incorporating financial and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and develop action plans for key accounts.
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities, coordinating with the sales team as necessary.
  • Convert leads into actionable opportunities by determining the appropriate sales strategy and leading the sales process.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Achieve and maintain a satisfactory rate of new sales.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in facilities or HVAC services; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping design, estimation, and sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid mathematical and financial acumen.
  • Interest in business development and participation in industry networking events.
  • Enthusiasm for modern technologies and their applications.
