Role Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager within the Program Management Office (PMO), your primary focus will be to ensure project success. Your commitment to this goal will guarantee the delivery of high-quality outputs that provide substantial business value for our clients and align with their strategic objectives. You will collaborate with colleagues and client stakeholders throughout all phases of project execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating essential program and project documentation, including status reports, stakeholder presentations, and timelines.
  • Establishing and nurturing successful client relationships while balancing their needs with internal priorities.
  • Anticipating, identifying, and mitigating project risks effectively.
  • Working alongside the program manager and other project managers to contribute to the long-term strategic goals of the client organization.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager with a proven track record in leading and coordinating projects in non-technical fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and demonstrated experience in applying them to meet client business needs.
  • Familiarity with business analysis concepts such as BPR, BPA, and BPM, and understanding how business requirements influence solution implementation.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex projects, including contract management and process reengineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to develop project schedules and manage risks accordingly.
  • Experience in drafting statements of work, technical reports, and proposals.
  • Proficiency in managing project budgets and adjusting based on changes in schedule and scope.
  • Capability to allocate resources effectively according to project demands.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous professional and personal growth.
  • Willingness to work on-site with clients as needed (up to 20%).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within a Program Management Office.
  • Professional certification in Project Management, such as PMP from the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
  • Training or certification in Organizational Change Management.
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools like Jira, TFS, or similar.
  • Experience in the government sector.
  • Knowledge of or experience in Behavioral Health, Juvenile Justice, or Child Welfare sectors.
