Job Title: Account Executive

At Marcus Evans, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new accounts and managing client relationships to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and qualifying new leads to create a book of business
  • Engaging with C-level decision makers to negotiate and close contracts
  • Managing sales activity and pipeline to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Nurturing new and existing client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Traveling to destination cities nationwide to attend in-person events and meet with clients
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably with a high-priced product
  • Prospecting and outreach experience, including cold calling and creating strategic marketing email campaigns
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills, with a strong understanding of EQ and tactical empathy
  • Strong hunter mentality, with disciplined KPIs and a farmer ability to nurture and develop relationships
  • Pipeline management skills, including research and organizational abilities
Compensation and Benefits:
  • 8-10% commission on sales, with average deals ranging from $35k-$90k for entry relationships and $150k-$250k on repeat relationships
  • Minimum earnings of $74,000 after a 3-month training program, with OTE of $90,000-$120,000 in the first year
  • Monthly career reviews against financial goals and KPI metrics, with progression into management after year 2 based on performance
