Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Associate. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Smile and greet customers, answer customer questions, and help resolve customer concerns in a polite and professional manner.
    • Follow company policies to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Operations
    • Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash registers.
    • Perform all related check-out procedures, including bagging merchandise and placing merchandise in customers' carts.
    • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and proper funds are collected.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
    • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
  • Teamwork
    • Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth function of the department and store.
    • Responsible for continuously improving job performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
