Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Service Advisor at Scenic Automotive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to greet customers, listen to their concerns, and determine the necessary service required for their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide timely and friendly service to customers, obtaining vehicle information and addressing their concerns.
  • Service Recommendations: Identify mechanical problems, confer with customers, and recommend corrective procedures.
  • Repair Orders: Prepare repair orders, including time, cost, and labor estimates, and explain the work performed and charges to customers.
  • Communication: Handle basic customer complaints, schedule service appointments, and obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
  • Quality Control: Implement a quality control process to eliminate comebacks and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Keep service department forms and pricing guides up-to-date, ensure vehicles are parked in assigned areas, and maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
