Position Overview:
As a Senior Strategic Client Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Oracle North American Application Sales.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with Oracle's most significant clients, offering insightful leadership and strategic recommendations regarding process enhancements, capability advancements, and technological transformations to achieve operational objectives.

Client Partners assist Oracle clients in navigating the intricate relationships and dynamics that exist within their organizations and their broader ecosystem of suppliers, partners, and service providers.

They work to break down transformation opportunities into actionable, value-driven recommendations.

As trusted advisors, you will engage with customers, collaborating closely with internal senior leaders, solution engineering teams, and partner alliances to implement both long-term and short-term account strategies.

Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A robust understanding of business processes across various functions, including finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, marketing, sales, and service.
  • The ability to comprehend the strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities of customers, translating these into essential capabilities and their effects on key operational metrics.
  • Expertise in diagnosing current architectural states, envisioning future states, and developing a phased roadmap to help customers achieve their ultimate goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of business application solutions and transformational technologies.
  • A background in business process design and consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in advisory roles, solution architecture, and value engineering.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise business software (ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, PaaS, etc.).
  • Industry experience in Retail, CPG, or Life Sciences.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • The ability to work independently from various locations.
  • A strategic and outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of architectural methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations and facilitate discussions with senior audiences.
  • A track record of achieving ambitious goals and fulfilling commitments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
  • Develop thought leadership and methodologies to advocate for necessary changes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, customer strategies, and business objectives.
  • Establish trusted advisor status by comprehensively understanding the customer's business and co-developing strategies.
  • Engage in value-based selling and articulate compelling value propositions.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities, architecting solutions using the Oracle portfolio.
  • Act as an expert advocate for Oracle solutions, technology, and digital transformation.
  • Stay informed about product and technical advancements within the Oracle portfolio.
  • Communicate effectively with customers at all organizational levels.
  • Lead discussions focused on strategic value rather than mere features.
  • Coordinate large, multi-product initiatives.
Sales Initiatives:
  • Identify strategic opportunities within accounts.
  • Drive programs with compelling value propositions and pathways to cloud solutions.
  • Lead business development discussions to create new opportunities.
  • Influence partners to prioritize Oracle solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to develop Deal Economics linked to business benefits.
  • Work closely with sales teams on account planning and winning strategies.
Advocacy:
  • Identify gaps in Oracle solutions and communicate primary requirements to Product Development.
  • Share thought leadership tools and methodologies within the team and across Oracle.
  • Develop positioning for cross-product solutions.
