Business Development Manager

**Job Overview:**
Hilldrup is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join its team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute customer-focused sales strategies.
The selected candidate will be responsible for owning a designated territory and reporting directly to the Vice-President of Workplace Solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing customer-focused sales strategies that demonstrate strong solutions and results for prospects and customers.
- Prospecting, networking, and commanding a major presence in your territory by estimating/selling and closing new business within Hilldrup's workplace services line.
- Managing the customer sales cycle ensuring that all aspects of our services are delivered as promised.
With a focus on ethical business practices, the successful candidate will also maintain an in-depth knowledge of workplace solutions and client issues and needs.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, sales, and/or business.
- Five to seven years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the moving or furniture industries.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work.
- Able to generate new business and maintain existing relationships independently.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding financial and business acumen.
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
