Account Specialist Job Description

MICHELIN is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Specialist to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role involves coordinating high-level account management and driving business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Function as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering strategic messages and responding to their needs at a local level.
  • BUILD consultative relationships with key decision makers at customer locations, learning their needs, business ambitions, and value drivers.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
  • Complete 'total cost of ownership' analysis for customers, using tools, processes, market, and product knowledge, and other expertise to address customer needs and drive sales.
  • Share knowledge and expertise regularly with others to support learning and improvement.
  • FACILITATE customer training regarding standard processes in maintenance and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Consistent record of success in commercial sales, account management, or related field with a strong eye for business and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to reliably connect with clients and internal partners.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven track record to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.com is a plus.
Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
