Real Escape From The Sex Trade is on a mission to create avenues for freedom, safety, and hope for individuals who have experienced sex trafficking. We are seeking a dedicated and community-oriented professional to enhance our Development Team.

As a prominent non-profit organization based in the Seattle area, we are committed to providing tailored services for survivors of sex trafficking. Our programs focus on offering unconditional support, walking alongside survivors throughout their healing journeys. Position Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Senior Philanthropy Officer to elevate our fundraising initiatives. This pivotal role involves cultivating, managing, and soliciting a portfolio of approximately 150 major donors through personalized outreach, effective communication, and strategic meetings. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Director of Development, crafting persuasive proposals, representing our organization at various events, and securing significant contributions to further our mission of combating sex trafficking.

Qualifications:

  • A strong alignment with our mission.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in donor engagement, fundraising, or sales, with a proven track record in securing major gifts.
  • Demonstrated success in project and relationship management, coupled with a passion for philanthropy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating the impact of community investment.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach.
  • A strong work ethic, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and experience with CRM systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
