Role Overview

As a pivotal member of the Strategy, Planning & Management (SPM) team, the Senior Officer will oversee the strategic and operational dimensions of our initiatives. This includes managing strategic planning, annual budgeting, investment portfolios, and business analysis. The Senior Officer will engage effectively across all organizational levels, fostering collaboration with peers, leaders, and stakeholders while demonstrating sound judgment. This role will guide the team towards rigorous practices that promote racial and socio-economic equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of strategic planning and operational processes for investment and financial oversight.
  • Provide strategic thought partnership to the Deputy Director and program leadership, ensuring impactful investment processes.
  • Assist program leadership in translating strategic goals into actionable investment plans.
  • Monitor grant and contract pipelines to manage budgets and produce accurate forecasts.
  • Communicate strategy and progress narratives effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Facilitate process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain connections with various teams across the organization to maximize impact.
  • Act as the primary liaison between program teams and business partners regarding operational success.
  • Design and manage special projects to support team operations and programmatic investments.
  • Promote inclusive practices that foster a diverse work environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
