Audubon is currently seeking a Business Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Business Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our Industrial Solutions Business Unit.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees and directs Account and Project Managers, Technicians, and other support personnel within the business unit.
  • Contributes to program development, playing a key role in the creation of service programs, including the formulation of procedures and work instructions.
  • Establishes, executes, and sustains effective business practices.
  • Formulates and implements strategic objectives for the team that align with the Business Unit's overarching strategic goals.
  • Ensures the safety of assigned personnel, including training field staff on safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to field and supervisory staff.
  • Confirms technician certifications and qualifications prior to assigning fieldwork.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of technicians and equipment for various projects.
  • Assists technicians in the field as required.
  • Capable of serving as the lead technician during field operations and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and manages the quality assurance program.
  • Analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Assists in creating segment forecasts and provides a comprehensive financial overview for the assigned area.
  • Ensures that the assigned area meets or surpasses budgeted financial targets, including revenue and margin leadership.
  • Inspires, clarifies, and directs the team, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities in achieving segment objectives.
  • Promotes a collaborative approach on both customer projects and internal initiatives.
  • Encourages and seeks input from team members at all organizational levels.
  • Accurately predicts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates, and utilization across the assigned area.
  • Supports and advises the team in negotiating contract pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Reviews status reports from Account and Project Managers and addresses issues as necessary.
  • Provides expertise to internal teams and task forces.
  • Enforces standard policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred experience in pipeline integrity NDE.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a Business Unit Manager competently.
  • Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Customer Management skills.
  • Effectively communicates with key clients to identify future needs and positions the company to leverage these opportunities.
  • Continuously seeks ways to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen customer and market relationships.
  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional solutions to clients.
  • Provides senior-level resolution to customer concerns.
  • Coordinates with Business Development and Project Directors/Managers, offering leadership and guidance throughout the sales cycle with existing clients.
  • Collaborates with Business Development to identify strategic accounts and actively participates in their development.
