ROLE OVERVIEW

The Operations Management Lead is tasked with delivering functional assistance to Project Operations Supervisors while fostering the growth of the Operations division. This position guarantees adherence to all protocols during both the Operations Preparation and Execution stages of projects. Moreover, the Operations Management Lead is pivotal in overseeing operations and engaging during the Early Engagement and Tendering processes.

In collaboration with the Operations Director, the Operations Management Lead spearheads the advancement of the Operations Department, advocates for a culture of safety within projects, and upholds the core Business Objectives and Values of Subsea 7. This encompasses a strong focus on the significance of safety in the design of equipment, procedural frameworks, and operational strategies. Additionally, the Operations Management Lead emphasizes team cohesion, professional development, and encourages team involvement in diverse initiatives.

All team members are expected to contribute to fostering a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and comply with local HSEQ regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and manage (Deputy) Project Operations Supervisors in technical, commercial, and procedural matters
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure integrated project outcomes
  • Assist in planning and optimizing schedules
  • Engage with Sales & Marketing for operational insights
  • Develop, disseminate, and enforce operational engagement for Tenders
  • Support the Operations Preparation and Execution phases of projects
  • Enhance project team awareness of company QA and HSE protocols
  • Standardize methods for operational close-out

Authority/Scope

  • Operate in accordance with Subsea 7's Code of Conduct and Management Principles
  • Support the establishment of standards and procedures for the Operations Function
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders

Organizational Structure

The Operations Management Lead reports directly to the Operations Director and interacts with all departments and project functions. This role effectively serves as the deputy to the Operations Director when designated.
