Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PrePress Utility Specialist to join our team at Amcor Flexibles, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our printing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and Stage Inks: Prepare and mix inks according to the press schedule, ensuring accurate color matching and quality control.
  • Deliver Inks to Press: Transport inks to the press room in a timely manner, ensuring adequate supply for continuous operation.
  • Color Matching: Use advanced color matching techniques to ensure accurate color reproduction on press.
  • Solvent Blending: Prepare and blend solvents according to the press schedule and setup sheet.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of ink and solvent usage, including labeling and tracking of containers.
  • Waste Handling: Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with company policies.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer software and hardware.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills, including ability to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 55 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in printing or color matching.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
