  • Quality Assurance: Perform all responsibilities in a manner that ensures the quality expectations of every customer are met or exceeded.
  • Measurement and Testing: Measure critical product/process variables, record or report using appropriate tools, and utilize information to continuously improve.
  • Process Control: If unable to maintain processes within established limits or meet specifications, stop the operation and seek assistance.
  • Customer Feedback: Ensure all customer feedbacks are completed on-time, root cause is identified and implemented.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in analyzing all customer feedbacks for trends and continuous improvement.
  • Corrective Action and Preventive Action: Involved in corrective action and preventive action process.
  • Process Capability Studies: Assist in process capability studies as deemed necessary.
  • Training and Development: Assist and/or train plant personnel in GIQ quality system.
  • Customer Property: Assist in maintaining customer property.
  • Document Control: Assist in maintaining process for document control.
  • COA's and COC's: Document COA's, COC's as required.
  • Customer Visits: Participates on customer visits.
  • Quality Concepts and Processes: Defines quality concepts and quality processes, including statistical basics, etc.; applies quality tools; interprets information and data; applies team concepts.
  • Food Safety: Where applicable, support the food safety team to organize its work, ensure relevant training and education of the food safety team members, ensure the food safety management system is established, implemented, maintained and updated, and report to the organization's top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safety management system.
  • Measurement and Test Equipment: Must know which measurement and test equipment (M&TE) tools are appropriate for various tasks and how to assess tool accuracy and precision; understands the concept of standards traceability for M&TE.
  • Inspection and Testing: Understands and applies basic inspection and testing techniques, including various types of sampling plans.
  • Quality Audits: Understands and applies various quality audit types and their components, tools, and techniques.
  • Nonconforming Material: Must be able to control nonconforming material.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
