Job Overview

I. Objective:

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist role is essential for the effective troubleshooting and resolution of electrical challenges associated with manufacturing equipment, systems, and overall plant operations to ensure optimal functionality.

II. Responsibilities


• Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols, maintaining the highest standards of safety by utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Execute tasks within established quality, quantity, sanitation, and timeliness standards, with a focus on preventing and rectifying costly mistakes.


• Fulfill the company's attendance expectations, including prompt reporting of absences and willingness to work overtime when necessary.


• Follow sanitation guidelines and best practices related to cleanliness, product hygiene, and personal grooming.


• Keep a tidy and organized workspace in accordance with 5S principles, promptly addressing spills and disposing of waste.


• Engage in on-the-job training and instruction to acquire knowledge of additional job functions.


• Abide by company policies and undertake other assigned responsibilities as needed.

III. Qualifications

1. Skills and Expertise


• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems.


• Experienced in the maintenance of Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, motors, and motor control systems.


• Knowledgeable in the calibration of process equipment, temperature control systems, and tension control mechanisms.


• Skilled in troubleshooting PLC, DC, and AC drive systems.


• Capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics.


• Proficient in the use of various hand tools, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.


• Strong communication abilities with a talent for managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.

2. Educational Background

A minimum of an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, coupled with over four years of experience in industrial electronic maintenance.
