Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will proficiently diagnose and rectify electrical challenges associated with manufacturing equipment, systems, and overall plant operations to ensure optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures regarding safety, consistently upholding the highest safety standards by utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Execute tasks within established parameters for quality, quantity, sanitation, and timeliness, with a focus on preventing and rectifying costly mistakes.
  • Fulfill attendance expectations, including prompt reporting of absences and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • Follow sanitation protocols and best practices in manufacturing to maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene.
  • Keep a tidy and organized workspace in line with 5S principles, promptly addressing spills and disposing of waste.
  • Engage in on-the-job training to acquire skills for additional responsibilities.
  • Comply with company policies and undertake other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems.
  • Experience with MCC and switchgear, motors, and motor control systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration of process equipment, temperature control systems, and tension control mechanisms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC, DC, and AC drive systems.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Skilled in operating various hand tools and utilizing multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong communication abilities and adept at managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Educational Background:

An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial electronic maintenance.
