Job Overview

The Senior Managing Partner, Strategic Sales is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion across a select portfolio of strategic accounts. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, this individual will lead a team of sales professionals in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting sales targets and quotas, and prioritizing opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of customer environments and build relationships to identify opportunities for T-Mobile to impact and improve customer business activities and results.
  • Account Planning: Develop detailed account strategies for existing accounts in the portfolio, working cross-functionally to drive high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Execution: Lead and manage entire sales cycles, implementing sales strategies and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Team Management: Coach and develop sales team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED (required), Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Work Experience: More than 10 years of business sales experience, with a proven track record of sales opportunity wins within the Fortune 500 segment (required)
  • Industry Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the wireless industry (required)
  • Leadership Experience: 4-7 years of experience in people management in a sales environment (required)
Skills and Abilities
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop sales team members, creating a collaborative team that aspires to exceed current metrics.
  • Sales Growth: Create opportunities for new sales while continuing to review account strategy for existing accounts to maintain long-term needs.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate work with the Innovation team and Analytics team to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Business Planning: Demonstrate contribution in account planning and execution of those plans.
  • Business Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure high levels of satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Serve as the primary interface for all products and services, creating demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
  • Sales Growth: Lead all daily customer interaction efforts to create new opportunities for sales and relationship growth within the team's account deck.
  • Negotiation: Confidently handle sales negotiations with prospects and existing clients.
  • Executive Level Presentations: Create and present creative and persuasive content to present to C-level executives, both in person and virtually, with professional confidence.
  • Contractual Agreements: Work cross-functionally with Legal to draft contract terms.
  • Knowledge of Program and Ability to Navigate Fluidly: Required
  • MS Office Suite: Creative use of tools for professional communications, both internal and external.
  • T-Mobile Tools & System Knowledge: Preferred
