Position Overview
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the sales team with both pre-sales and post-sales functions, ensuring that our commercial efforts align with the overarching goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account managers and strategic directors to qualify potential leads and onboard new clients into the system.
- Coordinate various projects, maintain sales tracking tools, and provide essential insights and data regarding clients and market trends.
Lead Qualification
- Engage in lead qualification by posing relevant questions, discerning accurate responses, and partnering with the Marketing department.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the sales force within the CRM system by validating and maintaining all leads.
Project Coordination
- Participate in the management of validation projects that involve new or increased processing volumes, working closely with all necessary stakeholders.
Contract Management
- Collaborate with the Legal and Contract and Pricing teams on quarterly contract renewals, schedules, addendums, and extensions.
Customer Support
- Address a variety of customer inquiries related to pricing, quotes, turnaround times, quality, capacity, contracts, and non-conformances.
Quote Generation
- Prepare quotes for various services, including revalidations, engineering runs, special service requests, and dose maps.
Order Processing
- Assist in obtaining purchase orders from clients following the quoting process and ensure they are uploaded into the CRM to initiate projects.
Revenue Evaluation
- Analyze clients with diminished revenue and volumes to uncover potential opportunities for growth.
Market Research Support
- Provide assistance to segment leaders with market research, mapping, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in sales support or customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Proficient in engaging with both internal and external clients.
